Monica Minardi is a Licensed Medical Esthetician and Professional Laser Technician at Viva Day Spa + Med Spa. She provides laser hair removal and advanced aesthetic treatments at our Downtown Austin med spa location, Viva Day Spa + Med Spa Lamar.
Monica received both her Esthetician and Laser Technician licenses from Austin’s Ann Webb Skin Institute in 2015. She also holds additional laser certifications from Texas Laser and Aesthetics Training Academy. Monica started her career as a laser technician and esthetician at a family medicine practice that specializes in transgender and hormone therapy. After six years at the family medicine practice, she transitioned to working for a bariatric surgeon at a med spa and specialized in laser treatments and body contouring.
Monica became part of Viva’s medical spa team in 2024 and performs Hydrafacials, Laser Hair Removal, IPL, Clear and Brilliant, Fraxel, SkinPen, Morpheus, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, Forma, and Evolve Body Contouring.
When she’s not helping patients feel beautiful inside and out, you’ll find Monica trying new restaurants with her son and her boyfriend. She also enjoys being outdoors and going to different parks for walks/runs on different trails around Austin.
